Masonic Village at Elizabethtown has been a trusted not-for-profit senior service provider for 115 years. Offering convenient, compassionate, high-quality services, including Home Health, is a top priority.

Deficiency-Free

The Masonic Village Home Health team achieved a deficiency-free Department of Health inspection in December. This means the program has met all state and federal regulations, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality care and operational excellence. The surveyor commended our staff for being exceptionally prepared and organized and spoke very highly of our program and processes.

Our 30 Home Health team members care for an average of 110 patients each month.

Readers’ Choice

Masonic Village Home Health was voted the #1 choice for home health in Lancaster County by LancasterOnline readers.

“Patients and doctors are seeing the benefits of aging in place and decreased risks when care is provided at home,” Jenna Zahm, director of home health, said. “Benefits include less stress and anxiety, decreased risk for infection and complications, and being with loved ones.”

Fred Koch has lived at Masonic Village for 12 years in an apartment. He used Home Health services twice a week for a medical issue, and he appreciated the convenience.

“[A home health RN case manager] came to us, and he was very, very helpful,” Fred said. “We had a schedule, and he was on time. He dressed my wound and took my vitals. I’ve been very healthy all my life. I had never experienced home health before. It was very beneficial. People should take advantage of it if they can.”
